Dr. Michael McGovern graduated Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA in 2006. A native of Chicago, Dr. Mike moved to Texas in March of 2021.


He specializes in pelvic balance, sciatica treatment, and shoulder pain for athletes, and loves working with athletes in sports ranging from volleyball, football and baseball to yoga, pilates and kickboxing, and loves to see patients of all ages and whole families.


Dr. Alex attended Baylor University in order to pursue his interest in Dentistry but the idea of healing the whole body with chiropractic care allowed him to pursue further education in Chiropractic instead. After obtaining his Biology degree from Baylor University, he continued his education at Parker University in Dallas, Texas.


Dr. Alex loves treating patients of all ages and is proficient in various chiropractic adjustment techniques such as Diversified, Thompson, Gonstead, Toggle, Activator, and Cox Flexion Distraction. He also likes using various active muscle release techniques and other modalities such as kinetic tapes, guasha tools, and cupping.
